Dr. Mazzola, has announced he will be teaching our next Italian language classes onsite beginning Saturday, October 3rd, 2026.
There will be two offerings, Intermediate & Advanced:
CLASS DETAILS:
- Cost is $295 per student which includes nine weeks of instruction; this is an adult class and all students need to be at least 18 years of age.
- As of 10-01-2025 Sales Tax is now resquired, the $295, price includes sales tax
- Class capacity is 15 students. To commence the course, we will reach out to confirm class launch once we’ve filled at least 10 seats.
- In person at Casa Italiana at 13028 First Ave. S., Burien WA 98168
- On nine consecutive Saturdays this spring of 2026: Oct 3rd, Oct 10th, Oct 17th, Oct 24th, Oct 31st, Nov 7th, Nov 14th, Nov 21st, N0v 28th
- Intermediate Class will begin promptly at 10:00am and finish at 11:00am
- Advanced Class will begin promptly at 11:15am and finish at 12:15pm

MATERIALS:
- There are no books for these classes.
- Please bring something to take notes on, such as a notebook, or a laptop.
INSTRUCTOR:
Classes will be taught by Dr. Claudio Mazzola, Associate Teaching Professor in Italian at the University of Washington in Seattle. From Milan, Italy, Dr. Mazzola teaches multiple levels of Italian at UW. Dr. Mazzola received his “Laurea” in English from the University of Milan in 1981, and also has a degree in cinema studies from the City University of Milan. He went on to receive a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from the University of Washington in 1986 and is a published writer in these topics.
